The time when DJ said no to an invite from "Oprah Show"
At the height of Miami Vice fame in the 80s Don Johnson was invited to Oprah Winfrey's show. Instead of saying "No", he sent her a pair of his Ray-Ban sunglasses. Several years after show ended, he finally appeared on the show and that made a good opener to the interview. Don Johnson was know to be "quite a diva" back in the peak of his fame. Say what you want, but without DJ. Miami Vice would have never become the show that helped to change Miami, and we are still talking about it to this day.
